Before You Go Shopping For a Used Car

  1. Determine your price range.
  2. Decide what kind of vehicle is best for you.
  3. The vehicle history report can tell you a lot about the car’s previous life.
  4. Check the mileage.
  5. Give it a thorough inspection.
  6. Start with a visual inspection of the exterior.
  7. Check the body condition.
  8. Also check the tread of the tires.
  9. Pop open the hood and make sure everything’s ship-shape.
  10. Take it for a test drive.
  11. Pay attention to how it feels and performs.
  12. When you’re sure you’ve found the one, buy it at the asking price or make an offer.
